Dear Ella,
Lovely call out of the blue tonight - from Pip - who was our McMillan nurse in Oxford.
Such a relief to talk to her - straight out, not making it OK, no brave face - just raw facts.
It took me right back to all those endless days and nights in hospital and do you know what? - I would go back and do every one again if it meant we could have you back.
